RESULTS

Overview

To determine results in league and overall competition, teams are ranked from first to last by averaging the number of team points per week. Each team's best 10 weeks are used to determine its average points per game. The highest average score of the ten best weeks will be used to determine standings.

Availability

Team, league and overall reports are updated weekly on the website by 5:00 PM CT each Tuesday and reflect results through the previous week's games.

Weekly prizes are based on the total points accumulated by the 12 college football players selected for the week, and are awarded to the top 3 teams with the most points for the week. First weekly prizes are awarded on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, and based on games played September 3 through September 5.

In the event of a tie in the weekly standings, the teams involved in the tie will have the tie broken according to the following tiebreakers.

  1. Compare each team's top scoring college football player for the week just completed. The team with the higher scoring college football player wins the tie.
  2. If the tie is still not broken, this process continues with the second top scoring college football player and so forth down through the teams’ lineups until the tie is broken.
  3. If the two tied teams have the exact same scores for all 12 of their college football players then their total year-to-date average points will be used to break the tie.
  4. If a tie still exists, the prize money will be split.

In the event of an overall and/or league tie at the Contest’s end, the following tie-breaking procedure will be used.

  1. Compare each team's top scoring college football player for week 13 (the final week). The team with the higher scoring college football player for week 13 wins the tie.
  2. If the tie is still not broken, this process continues with the second top scoring college football player for week 13 and so forth down through the teams’ final lineups until the tie is broken.
  3. If a tie still exists, the prize money will be split.
