The Northwest Arkansas Times on Friday reported that school officials are checking into a compliance issue surrounding a new Cadillac Escalade that McFadden has been driving.
Following its investigation, Arkansas determined that McFadden did nothing to lose his eligibility.
The News Oklahoma defensive tackle DeMarcus Granger was sent home after being arrested for shoplifting, The Oklahoman reported Monday.
According to the newspaper, Granger was arrested Saturday after attempting to steal a jacket from a Burlington Coat Factory store inside Arizona Mills Mall and will miss Wednesday's Fiesta Bowl contest against West Virginia.
Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops revealed during Monday's news conference that he sent Granger home on Sunday.

The Spartans said Monday that Saint-Dic, a senior defensive end, and three other players are academically ineligible for the bowl game. Adams, a senior linebacker, violated unspecified team rules.
